Thank you

We just wanted to thank everyone who has contacted us concerning the shortage of the drug Methotrexate in childhood leukemia patients. We are aware and very concerned. Abigail takes the drug weekly, as well as it being injected into each of our twins' ports and lumbar punctures. Luckily, I just refilled Abigail's prescription so I know we are good for at least a month. We will keep our fingers crossed that production goes back up. Thanks to everyone that has kept our girls in your prayers.

Some Progress

In spite of all of their physical battles, our little girlies are still progressing in their development. Abigail can potty in the big girl toilet every time I take her. We stopped the potty training temporarily because she just had her big chemo push followed by a week of steroids that make her legs hurt. Not a productive potty training time. She also has learned to dress and undress herself. Heaven help us, we have 9 outfit changes a day. Usually, its Gabby's clothes because they are easier, but today she found her swimsuit... The side view tells the real story. She cracks us up. The shirt is actually on backwards. I figure the info as to where the tags go will come later. (notice that her hair is growing back enough to stick up)
Both girls are starting to close doors which is always fun--especially when Corban is inside one of the rooms with the lights out. Natasha's progress has been less physical since she has been in such intense treatment for the last 4 months. She is speaking so much lately that I'm excited. The other day she said 4 whole words together. She is learning her colors as well--especially pink. We were so worried for a while that their leukemia would halt their progress developmentally. Hurray for their inner strength and determination! It surprises me every day how much they teach our family.
