Exploration Station
Gabby is in a preschool with 3 other kids. We decided to visit this place that was about 20 min away. No one had ever been there and it turned out to be so funny. You could crawl through a maze that was the small intestines and then go through a tube that was the colon. You can probably guess what the slide at the end of the colon represented. You could climb in the ear and slide down the tongue as well. They had anti-smoking displays and carseat safety videos. Also, a giant nose that showed you how far your germs went when sneezing. It was disturbingly fun for the kids. At the end I found 5 of the kids (we all took the siblings as well) laughing at this cowboy video. As I got closer, I realized that they were spitting tobacco. This was completly hilarous to these kids. All in all, a very strange trip. Good thing that lunch across the street in the park distracted them from the spitting. They were loving the imitations.

Angels Among Us
There are angels among us. This is evident with all that is going on in my house as I am not very energetic right now. We have help for 2-3 hours every weekday by one of my angel friends FayLyn. She is lactose intolerant also and helps make dinner as well as cleaning. On Mon. & Wed. another angel Sarah comes around 6:30 and helps clean up after dinner and gets the kids ready for bed. She comes after working full-time at a day care. On Tues. & Thurs., LeeAnn comes after her full time job around 4:15. She helps to feed the kids and clean up afterward and then goes home to make dinner for her husband. We have people who have come over to help clean floors, bring meals, grocery shop for me, and 2 ladies who took over my preschool weeks so that Gabby & James could still participate, without me teaching my 4 weeks. Several people have come over for other reasons and noticed needs and just filled them. Andrew's nursery leader came over to work with him and noticed that my floor needed cleaned and finished her evening sweeping and moping. She then took my pan home and filled it with dinner and returned it the next day. I have found that the Lord has blessed us with everything we need through other people--some we have barely known. There is no way to re-pay everyone for their kindness except to live close enough to the spirit that I can pass along the goodness to others as time passes.

Seven
Today, my baby is 7 years old!! It seems like he was just learning to walk. Seven seems so old to me. He is growing so independant. He can even make breakfast by himself for the other kids when I want to sleep. He enjoys making jokes and is the class clown (Daddy's boy). He is an advanced reader and loves chapter books. Yet, (Daddy's boy again) math is a bit more challenging for him. His favorite school subjects are art and gym. He loves to use his imagination and "fight the bad guys" while running back and forth between the stairs and couch making mouth noises. He likes to wrestle with his dad and loves Monster Jam. He can't wait to go to another live monster truck show. When he grows up he either wants to be an "army guy" or drive a monster truck. He is becoming very particular with what he wears and recently informed me that he will only be wearing "light colored jeans" from now on. The dark ones I bought him are just not cool. He likes being outdoors boating, camping, exploring or climbing trees. He is really obsessed with making up recipes and inventing new things. He is really cute with his little brothers and competative with his sister. We have loved watching him grow into the little stud that he is! Happy Birthday Nater Taters!!

This and that...
I am starting to feel less and less energetic and much more grumpy now. 30 weeks and counting down. I am more likely to be laying and less likely to be sitting to blog. I noticed today that my feet are starting to swell up. Needless to say, the blogs will be coming less frequently for a while. Here are the few photos I snapped for the week. Most of these things happen when Nate is at school. I will make a special effort next time to get him in photos more.
