Latest News
Well, we got the audiology reports today and they don't look good. Right now our girls are both hearing impaired with Natasha more so than Abigail. We see a specialist in a month (why can you never get in soon to see these people?) and we are hoping that most of their hearing loss is due to fluid in the inner ear (common in DS). We are actually hoping for tubes. How backwards is that?

It's not backwards at all. It's just making the best of a hard situation. Two years ago when Nathan was having all kinds of hearing problems, I was completely relieved when we discovered that tubes would most likely fix the problem. It's always amazing to me how positive you guys are. Hoping for the lesser of two difficulties is sometimes all you can do to stay afloat.
I am constantly amazed! Tried to call you yesterday but there was no answer on the home phone and I only have Josh's cell, not yours for whatever reason. Thinikng of you always!
