As always I am way behind. I am trying to be better about documenting our lives far away from family so here is a quick 2 week review.
We had some good friends over for Easter dinner. Here is what the kids were doing while the adults were lazing on the porch.
We did an Easter egg hunt just for our family. Here is Natasha pushing her little basket around the yard.
Abigail was getting in on the action too--especially when she discovered melting chocolate inside the eggs!
Josh and I tried to be creative hiding the eggs in the fort, sandbox, swing set, trees etc.
This was Josh only a couple of minutes after he went outside to enjoy a "quiet breakfast".
The Easter bunny brought our 3 oldest kids snorkels in anticipation of our up and coming camping trip in the FL keys.

Our kids were getting very creative with the eggs.
Now that we have weather in the 80's again, we are back at our pool a couple times a week. Here are James & Andrew swimming around.
Our twins are becoming "Daddy's Girls". Every time they pick up any phone they say, "Hi Dad!" It is one of the few things they are able to say. They still won't say "Mom".
3 pirates and a scary sea monster sailing the high seas. My kids love to dress up and use their imaginations.
James was assigned to spend a half hour watching the twins while I did school work with Nate & Gabby. Not sure that will ever happen again!
Primary Easter egg hunt. Nate & James are checking the loot on the right and Andrew is on the left in a green shirt. Our former branch pres. has a HUGE yard that they generously loaned the primary since we have no church bldg. Easter egg hunts are not so fun in a middle school cafeteria.
James has a special friend in one of our YW. I took James on a date to Luci's last lacrosse game. We made this huge sign that she loved and cheered her on the whole time. Her team all thought he was adorable!
We were able to spend a Saturday afternoon with this really fun family. My in-laws were friends with them when they first became members in Key West, FL many years ago. Here we are with the Wamplers, Thompsons, and Josh's brother John & family. We got to see some great old photos and hear stories of my in-laws.

You never cease to amaze me. Your kids will have the best memories of growing up. Dying Easter eggs with six kids (I'm sporadic at best), dress up awesome style and more! What a fun date!
