We decided that we all needed to take a fun day together on Saturday. We went to a zoo nearby and it was amazing!! The weather was mild and there were no crowds. They had animals that are so rare only 1 or 2 other zoos in the US had some of them. I was very impressed. They had a petting zoo that our kids really liked. Andrew went crazy chasing the animals and kept kissing them on their backs. Who knows what disease he may come down with after that. We only stayed about 2 1/2 hours because we knew the girls would get hungry. We have limited time with their feeding schedule. We only saw about half of the zoo so we will have to return again soon. It was such a perfect day.
We ended it by taking the kids out to eat before we headed home. We chose a new place--"Steak & Shake" because we knew our friend Jared was interning there this summer. We took these pictures for he & Heather & Miles. We are thinking about you guys!! We had a great time because we had no dirty dishes or messy rooms to stress us out. Of course, we did have to return to them :)

Love the pictures, Kim! Jared loved them too! We are excited to see you guys whenever you can make it down here or we can get up there!
Oh and you'll have to go back to Steak and Shake in a couple months after they have made the changes to the kids expierience that Jared is working on! He is helping to develop a line of kids shakes with flavors like cotton candy and birthday cake!
