Extra Special Delivery!

We finally have our girls here! On Thursday the 22nd at 1:44 pm Abigail Taylor Tillotson (shown in purple) was born weighing in at 5 lbs even. Her sister, Natasha Ann Tillotson (wearing pink) was born 3 minutes later (feet first) at 1:47 pm. She weighed 5 lbs. 5 oz. It wasn't long before we learned that our girls were genetically identical and that both have D0wn Syndrome. We feel very blessed that we have these special spirits in our family. We have decided that they must have had a close bond in heaven to have been allowed to come down together. Both girls are very healthy and no other physical problems have been detected. They are now both under 5 lbs. and finally home. They are working hard to learn how to feed as they were born at 36 weeks and 3 days. Our family is finally able to fuss over these little angels that we have been waiting for.

We just wanted to thank family and friends for all of the wonderful support that they have given. We have truly been blessed by meals, gifts, calls, fasting and prayers. We have felt your love and appreciate all that has been done for our family. We apologize that we have not been able to respond quickly or sometimes even at all to phone calls or messages. With babies that require some special needs and the time it has taken to do tests, speak with specialists and check out programs for our girls, we have had little time. Thank you again to everyone for all your love and support. We will do our best to keep our blog updated with pictures and reports of our whole family.
